Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Due to Fracture in Windshield
A jet transporting Pete Hegseth was required to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was discovered in the plane's windshield, according to an official announcement which verified that the secretary was unharmed.
"The aircraft landed following standard procedures and all passengers, such as Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," a spokesperson said in a online announcement.
He was traveling back from a short visit to Brussels during the flight.
This incident isn't the initial instance that a US military aircraft transporting a high-ranking official has encountered equipment failures.
In a previous incident this year, a United States Air Force aircraft ferrying Marco Rubio to Munich was forced to turn back to the US capital after suffering a technical issue.
