Two Individuals Accused Over Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Attack
Two men have been charged following a luggage theft where a believed to be irritant spray resulted in harm at London's Heathrow Airport.
Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and charges for administering a noxious substance, as confirmed by court officials.
This legal action stems from an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their suitcases taken after exiting a parking garage elevator, police said.
A three-year-old girl was caught up in the incident during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were eventually allowed to go home.
The incident – which authorities stated was isolated and not considered a terror-related act – resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
