US President Donald Trump States War with Venezuela is on the Table.
In a new interview, US President Trump indicated that he is leaving open the prospect of armed conflict with Venezuela. This statement comes as he pledged more confiscations of petroleum vessels off the coast of Venezuela's waters.
Rising Strains and Allegations
He has publicly charged Venezuela's president, Nicolás Maduro, and his administration of using "illegally obtained" oil to "fund themselves" and of engagement in practices such as "Drug Trafficking," trafficking in persons, homicide, and kidnapping. Maduro has strongly disputed all such claims.
"I do not rule it out, no," the President allegedly said to journalists when asked about war.
